Planning your 2024 trip to the happiest place on earth? Next year is going to be a game-changer at Walt Disney World. From the return of dining plans to simplifying the Genie+ experience, Walt Disney World is all set to add more magic to your experience. Get ready for Disney 2024!
With the return of dining plans at Walt Disney World in 2024, guests have even more options for their Disney experience. Dining plan options are available to those staying at Disney Resort hotels and purchase a package with stays beginning January 9, 2024.
Choose from the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. Both are great values that cater to different budgets and tastes while making your mealtime stress-free.
Breathe a sigh of relief as you bid farewell to date-based ticket park reservations. Beginning January 9, 2024, you can choose a start date for your standard, date-based ticket and complete your purchase. That’s it!
For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may still be required. You can check which admission types require park reservations by visiting DisneyWorld.com/ThemeParkReservations before you purchase.
Anyone who has ever been to Disney will tell you that a little extra time in the parks is a great perk that comes with staying at a Disney Resort hotel. The crowds are a bit thinner and the rides are more accessible. Fortunately, Disney plans to continue the magic with early entry to all four theme parks. What an awesome start to your Disney day!
Anyone staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas will also enjoy extended evening hours on select days at select parks through 2024.
Extended hours visits, however, do require guests to present valid theme park admission and a Resort ID.
As always, Disney continues to delight guests with cutting-edge attractions and thrilling experiences. Beginning in 2023, you can electrify your exercise on the TRON Lightcycle Run in the Magic Kingdom. Riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles and race through a computerized world at speeds up to 59 miles per hour!
Journey of Water, inspired by Moana, will open in Epcot in the fall of 2023. It’s an immersive attraction that encourages you to explore a lush trail and “play” with water.
You can also set off on an intergalactic chase at EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It’s the first-ever reverse launch coaster at Disney and one of the largest fully-enclosed coasters in the world.
These are just a few of the new, state-of-the-art releases that round out an exciting line-up of fresh attractions guaranteed to delight visitors of all ages.
With the promise of easier ticketing, more park perks, and everyone’s favorite dining plans, there are lots of exciting changes and upgrades in store. Get ready for Disney 2024!
