National Hawaii Day – July 5, 2022
July 5th is National Hawaii Day – the day we celebrate Hawaii’s status as the U.S.’s 50th state. However, statehood was actually granted officially on August 21, 1959.
It holds the distinction of being one of four states that were once independent nations along with California, Texas, and Vermont.
