Special Note from Statue Cruises in NYC…
Statue Cruises has issued a special statement regarding new National Park Service rules for school groups. Please read below for more information.
“The National Park Service has limited the number of tickets/slots that we can sell to school groups due to behavior issues that NPS personnel have experienced that impact the overall visitor experience for all visitors.
The NPS has set the ticket/slot allocation and will continue to review overall visitor satisfaction during 2025. Our process may change as the National Park Service determines the appropriate action for 2025 and beyond.
What this means for you:
The number of student tickets sold is at a capacity of 1200 per day. This is not just for tour operators; this is spread throughout NY and NJ school field trips as well. They are now only scheduling groups on the half hour and will only confirm a max of 100 per time slot. If you have a large group, you must split them into different time slots now.”
