GTO System Updates

Currency Conversion in Sales Manager

A new currency conversion feature will be introduced in Sales Manager this week.  This should not affect your pricing at all but you will see new information when you choose suppliers regarding the type of currency you are selecting.  GTO Members will be able to convert single products or an entire trip package.  If you have any questions or need help with the new feature please contact your Community Architect.  To find out more, join Coach & Go this week on Thursday for a demo.

Integration with WeTravel is in the final testing stages

Kristina will be reaching out to GTO Members soon to start adding the integration with WeTravel to your apps.  The first stage of this integration will be sending information from GTO to WeTravel.  We have also consulted our attorney, Jeff Ment, to review the standard questions to ensure we are asking questions and gathering data in a way that protects individual information and helps reduce risk for our members.  Kristina will have more information when she meets with you.

New Airline Quoting process coming soon

GTO will be releasing a new airline quoting system soon.  This new process will include the ability to capture flight information, deposit and utilization requirements, and many other features you have been requesting.  The first stage of implementation will be quoting and adding a new quote to your package pricing in Sales Manager.  Phase two will be how the information flows to Trip Manager, Group Accounting, and Passenger Manager.  Check out Coach & Go this week for a sneak preview!

Protect Your Company from Rooming List Questions

If your company receives rooming lists for your group tours directly from group leaders then this update is for you.  Misty Percifield from Jeff Ment Law recommends tour operators add the following statement to their group and individual travel agreements.  Due to recent legal action filed against group tour organizers and tour operators this language is an important addition to your terms and conditions.

We are not responsible for rooming decisions and will not be liable for any disputes, claims, injuries including but not limited to personal injuries, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and/or discrimination claims arising out of rooming decisions.
