Potatoes are a staple part of our diets – and have been for many years! In fact, potatoes were first cultivated by man in Southern Peru and the Northwest regions of Bolivia sometime between 5000 and 8000 BC. They are tantalizingly versatile tubers that have played an important role in world history.
On National Potato Day, we celebrate the potato in all its yummy forms – baked, fried, mashed, chips, skins, and so much more!
