National Lost Penny Day
You know how it goes… “Find a penny, pick it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck!” But frankly, most of us have little to no regard for the penny. If we spot one on the ground, we’ll most likely step right over it.
National Lost Penny Day seeks to change our poor attitudes toward the copper coin and find a good use for it. Dig into your couch cushions, car seats, purse bottoms, and every other nook and cranny to gather as many as possible. Then put those pennies to work by donating them to those in need.
After all, every penny really does help!
