It’s National Telephone Day
“Mr. Watson – come here. I want to see you.” In 1867, Alexander Graham Bell spoke these words to his assistant via the first phone call ever placed. How could Mr. Bell have ever imagined how far we’ve come 156 years later?!
The invention of the telephone linked people in a way that had never happened before. On National Telephone Day, we celebrate the humble but heroic beginnings of a worldwide shift in how we communicate. From party lines to online chats, the telephone paved the way for instantaneous global communication.

The spring travel season is here – and that means long days and little downtime for you! To help reduce your workload, we are temporarily suspending scheduled GTO office hours.
Beginning Monday, March 13th, we’ll skip the scheduled meeting times so you can focus on your business.
However, support is still available! Any new supplier or help desk requests can go directly to Help@GTONetwork.com. Be sure to put the word HELP in the subject line.
If you have other onboarding questions, please email Duane@GTONetwork.com.
Office hours will return once the busy season slows – we’ll keep you posted!

New Procedures for Unresponsive Suppliers
The GTO Accuracy Guru team works tirelessly to ensure you have the most current supplier information. However, there are times when even our best efforts don’t get a response.
Here’s how we’re handling it:
- You request a supplier.
- The Accuracy Guru team creates a new supplier in the GTO system or tries to contact the supplier for updated pricing within 24 business hours.
- If there is no response, the team follows up every 3 days for 21 days via phone, email, and voicemail.
- If there is still no response after 21 days, the request will be moved to “unresponsive status” and you will be notified via email.
- Once moved to unresponsive, the supplier request is closed.
If you have information for the supplier or still require their information for an active proposal, please submit another request. We will then continue to try to connect with the supplier periodically for another 21 days.
Don’t forget to check the Community Forum for system updates, advice, and more! Check the My Apps tab in GTO.
We have an easy way for you to submit a Help Desk request! Just send an email to email@example.com and BE SURE TO PUT THE WORD HELP IN THE SUBJECT LINE. This will automatically create a ticket and will email you updates as your ticket is being worked on.
There’s a new way to get the latest supplier updates. GTO community members can simply click the link below for the most current products and pricing.
